MC is a progressive model of motor and cognitive exercises that start simple and become progressively more complex. MC is designed to reduce the symptoms of ADHD, and to improve motor and executive functions. Outcomes based on pre and post evaluations, and parent report, have reliably shown improved academic performance, behavior, and attention and inhibition.

Negative behavior traits and lack of motivation often emerge as one struggles with learning and achievement. These behaviors can be the result of untreated problems associated with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, gifted asynchronous development, and even traumatic brain injury (TBI). Children and adults may develop the negative behaviors of learned helplessness as they experience small and large failures every day. The MC program has consistently helped struggling students become more confident, competent, and successful within 5-8 months. Students develop and improve inhibition, divided attention, and visualization skills. When an individual can sustain attention and control behavior, they can then apply those skills to improve academics and social behavior.
